How to avoid plastic sheets

Do you want to know a secret? Here it is: second-hand everything is pretty much the same as first-hand anything...after you've used it once. So here I am, buying second-hand sheets, firmly believing that everything we need has already been manufactured and also remembering that plastic (i.e. polyester/ any fabric that's not a natural fiber) sheets are just as avoidable in the second-hand market as they are in the first.

Watch the Youtube short to find out how.

AND! Check out Alden Wicker's work if you want to NEVER see clothing dye (or clothing materials) in the same way again. (Spoiler alert: in a podcast interview on This Sustainable Life, she invites listeners to imagine a single-use plastic grocery bag, then to imagine what it would take to permanently dye that grocery bag, then to recognize that all microfibers and manmade materials are essentially single-use plastic bags.)
